Conservation Expeditions |
| In 2007, I received a Fellowship Grant from
Artists For Conservation to conduct a Flag Expedition. My expedition was titled "Painting the Painted Dogs" and I arranged a 6 week visit to the
Painted Dog Conservation Project (PDC) in Zimbabwe where I spent time tracking and sketching highly endangered African Wild Dogs. PDC has created fantastic community projects and educational facilities and is also an employer of many local people. My visit there (which I hope to repeat) has inspired the creation of a second project - "Drawing upon Community" in which I will visit the
